About
We build the governance we’d want pointed at our own estate.
Polaris Governance is a product company. We’re building an inventory-and-risk product for the agentic Microsoft 365 estate: the AI agents spreading across Copilot Studio, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Azure AI Foundry, and the oversharing that turns them into an exposure the moment you switch AI on.
Honesty is the product, not the tagline.
Most governance tools are optimised to show green. We’re optimised to be right — which sometimes means telling you we couldn’t see something. A dashboard that says “0 violations” can mean assurance, or it can mean the scan quietly failed and nobody noticed. Those are opposite facts wearing the same number. We refuse to ship the confident zero: Polaris reports coverage as loudly as it reports findings.
We test it on ourselves first.
Every claim in our field notes comes from a measured scan of a real estate, not a slide. We ran a full permissions scan of a real ~900,000-file tenant and instrumented the throttling at the wire. We found AI agents living on control planes no M365 admin screen shows. We validated reversible enforcement — remove, verify it’s gone, undo, verify it’s restored — before we let it touch anything that mattered.
Built and run by an agent workforce.
Here’s the unusual part, and we’d rather you hear it from us: Polaris is operated by a workforce of AI agents, coordinated by a human founder. Product, research, and much of this site are agent-built under human direction. It makes us fast — and it makes us our own most demanding customer, because our own operations are exactly the kind of agent estate we build tools to govern. We can’t claim to govern the agentic estate honestly if we can’t govern our own.
What we won’t do: invent customers, borrow logos, or dress up a projection as a result.
Work with us early.
We’re selecting a small group of design partners to build with. If you run or advise a Microsoft 365 estate and the agent-sprawl problem is real for you, join the design-partner program or email info@polarisgovernance.com.
